Dr. Andy Han

Dr. Andy Han graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. His interest in clinical trials and the development of new therapies then led him to pursue a year of postdoctoral research at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine under the mentorship of Dr. Peter Campochiaro, one of the leading minds in the field of retina. He subsequently completed his ophthalmology residency and fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery at the USC Roski Eye Institute, earning a “Resident Teaching Award for Clinical Fellow” upon graduation. During his fellowship, he also trained under the esteemed Dr. David Boyer and his surgical colleagues at the Retina-Vitreous Associates of Los Angeles. Dr. Han has published several research articles in ophthalmology journals and has presented his findings at national conferences. He is proficient in medical Spanish and is currently spending time after work improving his Korean.
